Mary Ann Shadd Cary (MASC) Symposia 2020-2021
As we approach the 200th anniversary of Mary Ann Shadd Cary’s birth in 2023, the Colored Conventions Project is partnering with leading scholars, archivists, artists, and writers to host a series of digital events that explore her life and legacy.
Workshop Series
The Colored Conventions Project (CCP) and Penn Price Lab present a series of workshops on Black data. Building on the work of the CCP, together we will explore methods for creating, curating, and sharing data in pursuit of racial and social justice. We hope to expand the Black digital community in and around Philadelphia.
